I have a new album coming out in the fall and this is NOT IT.
However, this is the second track on an album i’m calling “DEMOÏTIS”, a collection of abandoned, indie rock demos that I produced, mixed and mastered by my lonesome over the past few years. I was planning to release a dark, strange, trip hop inspired album called "RED NOISE" spring 2020, but with the pandemic happening, I decided to put it off till the Fall. So I didn't lose my mind in the meantime, I decided to revisit, remix and released demos from my passed, and give them a moment to be heard, hence: DEMOÏTIS. In the light of my slow descend into maddness induced by a quarantine-cabin-fever, I also decided that each week as each song is released, I will attempt to make an official lyric video.

"Chemicals" is sort of a precursor to "DOPESICK". I wrote it a couple of years before it, using very similar lyrical imagery and metaphor but in contrast using an extremely different sonic palette. For "DOPESICK", I egregiously recycled the lyrical concept from myself thinking that "Chemicals" would never be released anyway. WELL, here it is, to my surprise, "Chemicals". Enjoy.
