Rhode Island teacher shortage closes Head Start classrooms | Rhode Island PBS Weekly

Hundreds of children in Rhode Island who could be enrolled in Head Start are not in school.

A shortage of teachers has forced child-care providers to close dozens of classrooms.

Early childhood advocates say children who should be getting a head start in their education are at risk of falling behind for good.
