Building a Custom Home: Final Touches – Wine Cellar, Glass Staircase Railing, Powder Room & Carpets!

We are building a house, and in this video we share the completion of the final details in our custom home build. We walk you through the design and creation of a custom glass wine display unit, we show you how we install large scale, contemporary glass staircase railings, complete our powder room, fire up the fireplaces, and install carpets throughout our bedrooms, as well as carpets and vinyl in our basement. We’ve also lifted the floor protectors from our tile & hardwood as we share how all our different interior design selections and features come together beautifully!

We are continuing the on-site construction process of building our custom home and previously on our new home build we completed the main structure and closed off the walls starting with excavation, concrete foundation, waterproofing, back filling, framing, installing the roof, installing the windows, applying stucco and stone on the exterior, completing the rough-ins, insulation, and drywall. We have also made some great progress on our home finishes with the installation of tile and hardwood flooring, trim finishes, cabinetry, completing our custom kitchen and master bathroom, painting, and completing exterior homes finishes and back yard– make sure to watch those episodes to get up to speed!
