This video focuses on the Cassiar Hwy and things to see and do along it. Parts of the Cassiar are cluttered with frost heaves and pot holes, making driving a challenge. We chose the Cassiar so we could see Jade City in Canada and the bears at Hyder, Alaska.

Something that you get to see more often if you're traveling to Alaska by a cruise is planes taking off and landing on the water. Nearing the end of this trip, it was our turn to watch planes on the water. We had camped at a pull off and saw a small customs plane take off and land on the water numerous times. That is a fun thing to see.

An interesting fact from Jade City is that 92% of the world's jade comes from the Jade City area. Jade City is in Canada, and it showcases some of that jade.

We had one of those unexpected things that happen. MiLena had a crown come loose. The only town that might have a dentist for a while was White Horse, the capital of the Yukon. Since it was the Labor Day weekend, we had to stop on the Tuesday after the holiday. The tooth got a temporary repair to get us home. We were grateful to find a dentist that could do a repair that would get us home to our dentist.
