VENICE, ITALY! PART 2 OF 2 (ST. MARK'S SQUARE, ST. MARK'S BASILICA, DOGE'S PALACE)

In Part 2 of my two-part Venice series, we visit St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) and learn in detail about everything that's here. We'll learn about the exterior of the beautiful St. Mark's Basilica, including its bronze horses, portals, statues, and religious mosaics. We then visit the stunning interior featuring gold mosaic cupolas, various chapels, religious statues, and the Treasury. After that we go to the top of St. Mark's Bell Tower ((Campanile di San Marco) for some great views of the city. We end with a tour of Doge's Palace, as we walk through the ornate courtyards, rooms, and chambers of this magnificent palace.
