Hey everybody. I’m sporting a new look and tackling the rest of the Whispering Pines North (Red) Loop trail at Hawn State Park in Missouri. If you haven’t already seen the previous hiking videos covering Hawn State Park, please check them out. The first video covers the Pickle Creek Trailhead and North (Red) Loop campsites 1 through 4. The 2nd video covers the South (Blue) Loop campsites 5 through 8. This video concludes the series with the northernmost section of the North (Red) Loop and covers campsites 9 & 10.

When camping outdoors, remember to practice good hygiene & Leave No Trace principles when it comes to food, trash, and human waste. Don’t leave your camping gear and dirty clothes lying around at camp. Don’t leave food items around where wildlife can be affected by them. And be sure to dig proper cat holes away from trails, water sources, or camping areas, or use a wag bag to pack it out. As others have noted in other outdoor channels, anything left in the park will likely remain there until someone has the pack space and determination to pack it out. Give a hoot, don’t pollute. Or else, I’ll toot.
