PENNS CREEK: Euro Nymphing Central PA's Brown Trout

Fly fished Penns Creek in Central, PA in early June. Fished an area with pocket water and shallow riffles/runs. It was a bright, sunny day with air temps in the high 70s. Single nymphed the pocket water and double nymphed the riffles/runs with great success. The fish in the pocket water were aggressive, while the fish in the runs where tucked up against the rocks for cover.

The winning flies were a size 14 Stony Pony and a size 16 Olive Flash Perdigon. The links for these flies are here:
