Porto di Maratea is the most visible and popular part of the larger community of Maratea. It is where sailboats, yachts and fishing boats moor from April to October in the marina that can accommodate up to 550 vessels. With only a single road into and out of town, it is a great place to relax with a cup of cappuccino in your hand. And did we mention the fantastic Gelato to be had at Emilio's ice cream shop!
