Giorgos Kallis discusses "The Economics Of Degrowth" with students at MIT

Giorgos Kallis

Kallis is Professor of Ecological Economics at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. Recent articles on the concept of "sustainable degrowth" have been published in Ecological Economics, the Journal of Industrial Ecology, and the Journal of Economic Issues, among others. Kallis obtained his PhD in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of the Aegean and completed a post-doc at the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley.
