Beth Stratford talks about debates on green growth, de-growth, decoupling and how we might manage our economy within environmental limits. Along the way she explains how debt, inequality and rent extraction contribute to our current system's need for growth.

Beth is a Fellow at the New Economics Foundation, Research Fellow at the Wellbeing Economy Alliance and PhD Researcher at Leeds University. She is co-author of 'Land For The Many' and recently completed these two influential papers: Green growth vs degrowth: are we missing the point? and A Doughnut-shaped Recovery. In 2012 she organised the Just Banking conference for Friends of the Earth Scotland.
