Urad Dal Matar Fry | उरद दाल मटर फ़्राय | Protein Rich Recipe | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Urad dal & green peas make a wonderful breakfast recipe of Urad Dal Matar Fry! Prepared within minutes, this quick and delicious #Cooksmart dish will be a perfectly healthy start of the day, which both kids and adults will enjoy.

URAD DAL MATAR FRY

Ingredients

1 cup split skinless black gram cooked with salt and turmeric powder till just done
1 cup boiled green peas
2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
3 medium onions, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
1 1/2 inch piece ginger, chopped
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 lemon
Fresh coriander leaves, few sprigs
3 tablespoons scraped coconut

Method

1. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let them brown. Add onions, green chillies and ginger and saute till fragrant.

2. Add black gram and green peas and mix. Add salt, red chilli powder, juice of ½ lemon. Chop coriander leaves and add and mix well. Add coconut and mix. Serve
