Good examples on economic empowerment initiatives in Municipality of Bitola and Kisela Voda
Municipality of Bitola and Kisela Voda, supported by UN Women, applied gender-responsive budgeting in the local economic development programmes. The initiatives focused on strengthening the employability, entrepreneurship, and digital skills of women in the local communities. The video showcases beneficiary stories of two women entrepreneurs from these two municipalities. The video is produced in the framework of the UN Women project “Promoting gender responsive policies and budgets: Towards transparent, inclusive and accountable governance in the Republic of North Macedonia”, funded by Switzerland and Sweden.
