My soul, take comfort in God
Be filled with glad singing!
Even though this road is so sad, lift yourself up towards the heights!
Forget this sad, earthly life, for it will pass like the night, like a shadow.
A new sun will shine! The somberness of the difficult times will pass.
Rejoice, o soul! The shore is now visible, the river must only be crossed.
A new, happy and joyous life will gently flow there.
My soul, take comfort in God
And be only His possession.
He will help you in your despair
And will lead you into His kingdom.

Slavic Chorale is a volunteer choir of singers from Northern California. It was founded by Pavel Kravchuk and Miroslav Chernyetsky in 2010. The choir performs music for the glory of God, serving the community through performance and community events, helping inspire and spread Slavic music education and appreciation.
