Market Garden 75 years commemoration Groesbeek

75 years ago, operation Market Garden started. On 17 september 1944, 30.000 paratroopers were dropped in the neighbourhood of Eindhoven, Nijmegen and Arnhem. In Groesbeek are 5500 paratroopers dropped on that day. Today about 1200 international paratroopers are dropped on the exact drop-zone where 75 years ago the 82e airborn division set foot on ground.
