Arnhem 75th / A Bridge Too Far / “I was NO hero" Lt Jack Reynolds

A video produced and posted to mark the 75th anniversary of 'Operation Market Garden' and the battle of Arnhem.

Presented by aircraft enthusiast and big band vocalist Gary Lewis who tells the story of WW2’s Operation Market Garden that was made into the 1977 feature film "A Bridge Too Far" directed by Richard Attenborough .

The superb Tongue & Groove Big Band led by Bill Richardson performing the main theme from the movie. 

Arnhem veteran Lt Jack Reynolds who passed away shortly before the 75th anniversary is also remembered.

Special thanks to the Metheringham Airfield Heritage Centre  for making their DC3 Dakota aircraft available for filming.
