WCBS CBS2 News at 9:00 AM Open and 8:53 AM News Update, 5/21/2024 (New Music)

Open for the 9am newscast, as well as the 8.53am news update during "CBS Mornings" on the CBS-owned station in New York City. Recorded Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Recently (within the past week or two), WCBS began to use the morning themes originally produced for sister station KPIX in San Francisco. As far as I know, these were produced by an outside vendor in San Francisco and not Antfood. There's no change to the graphics or voiceover artist (Brian Lee).

The commercial block between the update and open was also left in to show an example of the "L-bar" used during spot breaks. The update was left in to show how the music is being used there. If you're just here for the open, it's at 5:53 in the video (more timestamps below).
