Lead A Neurodynamic Warm Up: Introduction
Research has proven that warm-up activities can reduce the risk of injury and improve sports performance for young athletes. Warm-up activities aren't one-size-fits-all though - children's skill level and sport type should be considered when implementing a warm-up program. The HSS Sports Safety Program has created a new type of warm-up - a Neurodynamic Warm-Up - that includes the types of exercises and activities that can help to reduce the risk injury for young athletes. You can find more resources to share with your athletes and their families at: https://sports-safety.hss.edu/
