Connor Lade: Back in the Game
Last season was set to be the best one yet for New York Red Bulls Defender Connor Lade. However, during a game when he was chasing down an opponent, he planted his foot, heard a pop in his knee and fell to the ground in obvious pain. He was immediately attended to by Dr. Riley Williams, Medical Director & Head Team Physician for the New York Red Bulls and HSS sports medicine surgeon. Dr. Williams confirmed the unfortunate news that Connor had torn his ACL and would need surgery. However, after successful surgery and a demanding rehab process with physical therapist Patrick Vignona, Connor made a triumphant return to the field at Red Bull Arena for his sixth MLS season this year!
