This village on a cliff in China,
For more than 400 years, villagers here have relied on their hands,

This is Gulu Village, located in Yongli Township, Hanyuan County, Sichuan Province.
Located on the cliff at the entrance to the Grand Canyon of Dadu River,
It's a Yi village of more than 400 people.

It is said that about 400 years ago,
There is a Yi family named "Ribi" in Tianba town, Ganluo County.
Competing for property and land with two local Yi families, the Yang and Ma,
After the fight, only six men remained.
Two of them climbed the mountains, waded across the Dadu River,
Climbed this cliff across a mountain and a river.
That's probably why the land is so dangerous, so easy to defend and so difficult to attack,
And they can watch their own land. They've settled down here.
About the origin of the name of Gulu Village,
One says "Gollum" is the sound of rocks rolling down a hill,
"Gollum" became the ancient road.
At present, Gulu Village has a total of 133 households and 436 people,
There are more than 300 permanent residents, more than 98% of whom are Yi.
Before Cheng-Kun Road, cliff climbing was the only way to get to Gulu Village,
After the completion of the Chengdu-Kunming railway
The "One-line Sky" bridge is the starting point for the village of Gulu,
The mule trail, dug in 2003, is on a steep wall of nearly 90 degrees,
Seven turns and eight turns along the way, the narrowest point is only 40 centimeters wide.
