Political tensions escalated sharply in the national capital as Trinamool Congress MPs detained during a protest outside Kartavya Bhavan were taken to the Parliament Street Police Station, where they now allege illegal detention.

Senior leaders including Derek O'Brien, Mahua Moitra and Kirti Azad claim no FIR has been registered and say they were prevented from leaving despite being asked to exit earlier. Visuals show the MPs staging a sit-in protest at the police station gate, confronting Delhi Police officials.
