Ultrasound Video showing Triplet Pregnancy with three separate placentas.

This video shows Triplet Pregnancy with three separate placentas.
While a normal pregnancy usually lasts 40 weeks, triplets are often born earlier. However, generally the longer your babies can stay in the uterus, the better. But when you are pregnant with triplets or more, complications often develop which means it's better for you and your babies if they are delivered early.
There is no way for a naturally conceived triplet to conceive triplets naturally! The odds are one in 6 million.
Women can reproduce for about half of their lifetime and can only give birth about once every year or so. So it makes sense that women can only have a fraction as many children as men. One study estimated a woman can have around 15 pregnancies in a lifetime.
If you're pregnant with multiples, your babies are more likely to have health complications, including Premature birth. More than half of twins and nearly all triplets and other higher-order multiples are born prematurely. The earlier in pregnancy your babies are born, the more likely they are to have health problems.
A normal pregnancy lasts 40 weeks. If you're carrying more than one baby, chances are good you'll deliver early. Twins are usually born around 36 weeks -- four weeks early. Triplets arrive at about 33 weeks, and quads often make their debut at 31 weeks. Continuing a pregnancy with triplets or more for longer than 36 weeks can be risky both for you and the babies, so it's usually considered best to deliver them early.
In a pregnancy with triplets or more, the babies can be all identical, all fraternal, or a mixture of both. This can happen when multiple eggs are released by the mother and fertilized. If one or more of these fertilized eggs divides into two or more embryos, a mixture of identical and fraternal multiples will occur.
Signs that she might be carrying more than one:
Rapid weight gain in the first trimester.
The uterus is larger than expected.
Severe nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness, or other pregnancy symptoms.
Higher hCG levels.
The intertwin membrane is a membraneous separation between two fetuses in a twin pregnancy.
Because fraternal, or dizygotic, twins are 2 separate fertilized eggs, they usually develop 2 separate amniotic sacs, placentas, and supporting structures. Identical, or monozygotic, twins may or may not share the same amniotic sac, depending on how early the single fertilized egg divides into 2.
Symptoms of twins in the first trimester
Have nausea or vomiting.
Have swollen, tender breasts.
Notice darker skin on the nipples.
Feel bloated.
Start to have food cravings.
Notice an increased sense of smell.
Feel exhausted.
Have more urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Monoamniotic twins are a rare form of monozygous twins in which both fetuses occupy the same sac. The diagnosis is made by ultrasound imaging. No amniotic membrane is visualized in a same-sex twin pregnancy with one placental mass.
Selective reduction is the practice of reducing the number of fetuses in multiple pregnancies, say quadruplets, to a twin or singleton pregnancy. The procedure is also called multifetal pregnancy reduction.
All pregnant women should drink at least six eight-ounce glasses of water a day; if you can drink even more than that, so much the better. Carry a big water bottle with you in your car or purse, and keep a big glass full of water on your desk when you're at work.
Three Types of Twins. We all know there are two types of twins identical and fraternal. Now scientists are adding a third category to the list., semi-identical twins. Researchers say semi-identical twins are more genetically alike than fraternal twins, but not genetically identical like identical twins.
Although identical twins also share a placenta it is divided into two separate compartments, and one may be healthier than the other. The researchers followed seven sets of identical twins all the way to birth. In all cases, one twin was smaller than the other.
Vanishing Twin Syndrome. The loss of one twin during pregnancy usually occurs in the first trimester (often before the mother even knows she's carrying twins) or, less commonly, later in the pregnancy. During a first trimester loss, the tissue of the miscarried twin is usually reabsorbed by the mother.
In the case of a twin pregnancy, babies quickly run out of space in the womb. You will also be able to detect individual kicks, elbow jabs, punches, or a pressing sensation in your abdomen as the babies move around in a limited space.
Twins who share the same amniotic sac, a condition that occurs in less than 1 percent of all U.S. twin pregnancies, face serious risks — including cord entanglement, which can cut off the blood flow from the placenta to the fetus.
