Eagle Takes Down Great Blue Heron

Video taken at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.

After killing the juvenile heron, the eagle (presumably the female) plucked all of the large feathers off and then dragged it up onto the grassy area you can see above where they are in the video. She ate some of it and then the other eagle (presumably the male, since he was smaller), ate some as well.
