SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is still the foundation.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is about helping your business show up in direct answers.

That means building content and website structure in a way that makes it easier for search engines, voice assistants, featured snippets, AI summaries, and answer-based interfaces to pull your information quickly and confidently.

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about positioning your business to appear in AI-driven search environments and generative responses.

This includes how your brand, services, location signals, authority, trust factors, and supporting content are understood across your site and across the web so large language models and AI-powered search tools can recognize you as a relevant source.

That’s the real game now.
