5th Award at BW Excel Awards 2026 for 360° VR Film | Meri Kahaani | Reliance Foundation

One of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on is our first 360° VR film, Meri Kahaani, shot in Kalahandi, Odisha. The film recently received its 5th recognition at the BW Excel Awards 2026 in Tech Enabled category.

What makes this special is not just the recognition, but the experience it creates.

This documentary captures how Reliance Foundation, along with its implementation partners, is enabling rural women to build sustainable livelihoods through pond fish farming.

But when viewed through a VR headset, it goes beyond observation.
You are placed right there—in the environment, in the moment—experiencing the story firsthand.

That shift—from watching to experiencing—is where storytelling is headed.
