Shatrughan Sinha ji went to Majhagawan to attend Krishi Vigyan Mela. Krishi Vigyan Mela was organized by an ISO certified NGO Deendayal Researsh Institute. Majhagavan is 35 km away from Chitrakoot where Krishi Vigyan Kendra has done lots of work towards making the villagers self-sustained and self reliant. All these efforts come under the umbrella of larger 'Swalamban Abhiyan' under which Deendayal Research Institute has an aim to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and further address education and health in 500 villages that fall within a radius of 50 km at Chitrakoot. Before coming to Majhagavan, he went to meet Hon'ble Nanaji Deshmukh, founder, Deendayal Research Institute in Chitrakoot. There he also visited Ram Darshan and Arogya Dham.
