Butttum’s Farm - July

At the Hamilton Farmer’s Market, there are few vendors that represent their own farm, and of these, the foremost is Buttrum’s. Earlier this year Kierin invited me to the tour of their farm, and indicated that she would be hosting another tour in midsummer. Over the past few weeks, I kept her abreast of my availability, and we settled on this weekend.

Anita was excited to come and kindly took me as my gaybours Claude and Darrin - who also frequent the Buttrum’s stall - up to Kierin and Gary’s farm. In her usual warmth, Kierin made currant soda and gazpacho all from the produce of her farm, and then we joined them for a 90 minute tour around the property.

Such a glorious experience to enjoy the sky, the land, and all its bounty.
