Why Pandas Are the Weirdest Cute Animals
The adorable Giant Panda is basically a professional eater… and sometimes even does handstands to pee. Even though pandas belong to the carnivore family, about 99% of their diet is bamboo, so they spend 12–16 hours a day eating and can consume up to 38 kg daily. They also evolved a “fake thumb” (a special wrist bone) to help hold bamboo. Cute and clumsy, but definitely one of the weirdest animals in the animal kingdom.
