Mercedes-Benz Vito - How to remove / install the headlight (lamp unit) | W447, W448 (V-Class)

you need to have completed the
commissioning on the vehicle with star
diagnosis before you can replace the
lighting unit on the V-Class then
you can begin with the removal process
first remove the support for the bumper
and unscrew the two screws on the lighting unit
then remove the ten retaining clips on
the top cladding and remove it
now we continue with the mudguard
interior cladding to do this raise the
vehicle a little on the platform remove
the two retaining clips for the cladding
then unscrew the fastening screw for the bumper
now open the service flap first remove
the protective cover to access the next screw
then unscrew the screw located underneath
now for the two retaining clips for the
mudguard lining remove these as well
then it's time for the three screws for
the underbody cladding unscrew these one
after the other
now you can remove the bumper
then unscrew the last screw on the lighting unit
unplug the electrical connectors and
then remove the unit
refit the new lighting unit in the reverse order
after the replacement carry out a function test
in our case the lights were perfectly
finally adjust the headlights then your
customers back on the road with the right lighting.
