PARK PEAK LOOP TRAIL HENDERSON NEVADA

This is the final video in my local Las Vegas area hiking series. This time, I am showing off a cool hike in Henderson in the neighborhood of Anthem. This particular cluster of mountains and trails is called the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. The Park Peak Loop Trail is labeled as moderate at 5.2 miles round-trip and 859 feet of elevation gain. What I love about hiking in this area are all the black lava rocks you see on the trail. The views of the Las Vegas valley along the hike and also at the top of Park Peak are just amazing!
