Rising rapper Vonoff1700 discusses his controversial track "If He's With The Opps, I Don't Care if He's 2 When He Died," which caught attention for its blunt diss toward rival gangs. In a revealing interview with VladTV, Vonoff1700 explained that the song was his first and stemmed from personal conflicts in his community, even causing concern for his mother given her local reputation. The track marked a turning point, eventually leading to a joint venture deal with Signal Records and Columbia Records when he turned 21.

Vonoff1700 admits the aggressive lyrics reflect the harsh realities of ongoing street violence but clarifies that innocent lives lost, especially children, are tragic and senseless. He acknowledges the complexity of the situation, emphasizing that while the diss tracks aim at rivals, the loss of innocent people is not something he condones. Since signing to a major label, Vonoff1700 says his music process has become more enjoyable, with better resources and opportunities to expand his reach beyond his hometown.
