Not long after I posted Lockdown Lick #2, my buddy David Henriksson sent me a video on Facebook to show me a more challenging way of playing it that incorporated more
open string action. I watched it and thought, well… I HAVE to share this with my subscribers!

Country guitar players like Johnny Hiland, Brent Mason, Brad Paisley, Albert Lee and many more are known for playing their licks like this. It seems their mindset is the more open strings, the better! I can’t say I disagree - this lick does sound very cool when played this way.
