Tallulah the Tube-nosed bat has been in care for nearly three weeks now following entanglement on a barbed wire fence.
Thanks to her incredibly placid and accepting nature, she is doing really well and maintaining her body weight which is important.
Her dietary preferences have presented some challenges as despite offering a large variety of tropical fruit, Tallulah will only eat custard apples with a dietary supplement sprinkled over the flesh.
Thanks everybody for your ongoing fruity contributions and thanks to Rachael, tonight we are trying guava and native quondongs which are a forest fruit apparently enjoyed by tubies.
Quandongs are blue in colour so tomorrow mornings spats should be interesting if madam chooses to dine upon them tonight.
