Ann's previous date with Jim went horribly wrong. She spilled wine all over him and he left in a rush shortly after. As she goes to her coffee shop she can barely order a coffee without her anxiety questioning her actions. This leads her down to her dark relationship past and why she is so afraid to date again. She was cheated on multiple times.

Anxiety is a mental health issue that does not get enough recognition. Although we all have an Anxiety in all of us, it's important to not let it take over our lives and stopping us from moving forward in life. Our past will shape who we are and how we do things but don't live in fear of what the future can bring us.

Anxiety can be triggered by many life events. For Ann, it was her constant relationships of being cheated on that has her questioning herself and whether she deserves to be in any relationship. Being cheated on multiple times has given her anxiety scarring her. As she tried multiple times to get help, her anxiety grew. Whether it was her self-help books or seeing a psychiatrist, Anxiety pushed her down further. Finally deciding she's not good enough for anyone, she deletes Jim's phone number coming to terms with herself to stay single rather than ruin another person's life. But just as she does that, Jim enters the doors...
