We found a bunch of 1700s artifacts in a chimney stack next to an old cellar hole metal detecting. We went back to a colonial site we had found and did some digging. We were doing great finding stuff with the Fisher F19 metal detectors and then signals were coming. out of the chimney stack. Essentially all that is left is a huge pile of rocks were the chimney collapsed hundreds of years ago. We started digging it out and finding all kinds of buttons and stuff. A pretty great day digging history here in New Hampshire out at the old colonial cellar hole.
