Metal Detecting And Exploring: French And Indian War River Site

Please join me as I metal detect and explore a cool, clear river in the mountains of West Virginia. In this search, I team up with Todd of AppalachianHistoryDetectives and we start at a modern bridge that was also the site of several other bridges dating back to the early 1800s. After not having much luck metal detecting there, we move to a nearby fording area and start finding lots of cool relics to include colonial-era buttons and even an American issue large cent. The most interesting find was a Spanish coin cufflink that I found that was worn by American colonials to show their disdain with Great Britain.
