Basic German Commands to Train your DOBERMAN - Quick Tips

A major benefit of training commands in German is that they're easily distinguishable from English. For instance, dogs often hear the words OK, down or come in our everyday conversations out of training contexts, which can be confusing. German commands are clear, distinct and most likely are commands nobody else will replicate to confuse your dog, unless they're German :)

That's one reason some law enforcement officers like to stick to their imported dog's native language, whether it's German, Hungarian or Dutch.

In this video you will find the basic commands in German with their equivalent in English.

NOTE: This video was online before, but I have redone it. Anyway, there is one command that I've missed (again) and that is: Heel (Fuss in German, and reads as Fooss).

Hope you enjoy!
