Why SOCIALIZATION is so Important for your DOBERMAN?

Every puppy should start his socialization as soon as possible, but at least, starting at 4 weeks old.

If a puppy grows up meeting lots of people, and going to lots of different places, and always having fun when it happens, he’ll grow into a confident, secure, adult dog who loves to meet people, visit places, and is comfortable in all situations.

If a puppy is shielded from new experiences, and people, he’ll likely grow up to be timid and possibly frightened of new things.

The idea behind socialization is that you want to help your puppy become acclimated to all types of sights, sounds, and smells in a positive manner. Proper socialization can prevent a dog from being fearful of children, for example, or of riding in a car, and it will help him develop into a well-mannered, happy companion.

Gently exposing him to a wide variety of people, places, and situations now makes a huge, permanent difference in his temperament.
