Former Prime Minister of Poland Suchocka calls on governments to create an IACC

Representing the Club of Madrid, former Prime Minister of Poland Hanna Suchocka highlights that dozens of former heads of state and heads of government from every continent support the International Anti-Corruption Court (IACC) idea. "But now our role is to convince acting prime ministers and acting heads of state that exactly this initiative is of great importance," she said. By March 2023, five countries are convinced - Canada, Ecuador, Moldova, the Netherlands, and Nigeria - and have made public commitments to work towards creating the court.

Her remarks were made at an event on the IACC at the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands on June 1, 2022, organized by Integrity Initiatives International (III) as a part of the World Justice Forum (https://worldjusticeproject.org/world-justice-forum-2022).
