Creating an International Anti-Corruption Court is the right thing to do

Judge Mark Wolf, Chair of Integrity Initiatives International, called the creation of the International Anti-Corruption Court the right thing to do for our children, grandchildren, and other people who are dedicated to combating corruption.

"Sometimes I am asked: “Are you optimistic that this urgently needed court will be created?” and I quote Václav Havel who said he is hopeful. He said: “Hope is the conviction that something makes sense regardless of how it turns out and it's the right thing to do” and to try to create this court I am convinced that is the right thing to do. ... And is the right thing to do for other brave people who are dedicated to combating corruption.”

His remarks were made at an event on the IACC at the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands on June 1, 2022, organized by Integrity Initiatives International (III) as a part of the World Justice Forum (https://worldjusticeproject.org/world-justice-forum-2022).
