MN’T.W.A.T. Day 1: Bitter Cold and Sunny Skies

The Minnesota Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail (MN’T.W.A.T.) is an 900 mile adventure route of my own creation. Join me on my first camping trip for 2021; also my first motocamping trip ever. This will be a four day adventure ride that will for through, Souther Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and the Arrowhead Region of Northern Minnesota.

Day one starts in a small town in southern MN called Nerstrand. From there I head over to Red Wing in freezing cold and rain; seriously not fun. I warmed up in a coffee shop for a while to recover form the cold. Shortly after, I crossed the Mississippi River and headed up through some semi-random WI county roads that eventually lead me to Danbury.
