I Bought Another Bike - 2020 CFR250L (First Impressions)

Correction as quoted from the Honda Owner's Manual (keep in mind that Honda still says to do the first oil change at 600 miles):
Break-In Period:
During the first 300 miles (500 km) of running, follow these guidelines to ensure your vehicle's future reliability and performance.
● Avoid full-throttle starts and rapid acceleration.
● Avoid hard braking and rapid down-shifts.
● Ride conservatively.

Most people I know recommend a relative hard break in while still avoiding full throttle and aggressive shifting. You can make up your own mind for your own machines.
