Butters' Law

Butters’ Law is a prediction developed by Gerald Butters’ suggesting a doubling of data transmission over a fibre optic cable doubles every nine months. If the amount of data transmitted over a fibre optic cable doubles every nine months, that also means that the cost of sending the same amount of data, halves every nine months as well.
