Donovan Mitchell smashed the Cavs record books as he scored 71 points in the teams win over the Chicago Bulls. It was a completely legendary performance in Cleveland Cavaliers history. The previous record was held by LeBron James who had scored 58 points for the team. Donovan Mitchell was the first player in Cavs history to score 60 points, the first player in Cavs history to score 70 points, and one of only seven players to ever score 70 points in NBA history. It was completely legendary.
No matter what happens, J.B. Bickerstaff, Koby Altman, Dan Gilbert, and the Cavs will still have Darius Garland, Donovan Mitcell, Evan Mobley, Isaac Okoro, Ricky Rubio, Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love, Cedi Osman, Caris LeVert, Lamar Stevens, and Dean Wade.
