The Cleveland Browns have franchise-tagged tight end David Njoku. Putting the Franchise Tag on Njoku means that he will be back for 2022 and that he will be the highest paid tight end on the team. It also could mean the untimely demise of Austin Hooper. If that is the case, I hope that a 26 year old Njoku can still improve and help Baker Mayfield thrive.
No matter what happens Kevin Stefanski will still have Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, David Njoku, Drew Forbes, Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams, Jadeveon Clowney, Sione Takitaki, John Johnson, Mack Wilson, Cody Parkey, Jedrick Wills, Rashard Higgins and others.
