नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील येवला कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समिती आजपासून सलग सहा दिवस बंद राहणार असल्याने कांदा उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांसमोर मोठे संकट उभे ठाकले आहे. मार्च अखेर व सार्वजनिक सुट्ट्यांमुळे कांद्यासह इतर भुसार धान्यांचा लिलाव बंद राहणार आहे.
आधीच कांद्याला अपेक्षित बाजारभाव मिळत नसताना, आता लिलाव प्रक्रियाच ठप्प झाल्याने शेतकरी अधिकच चिंतेत सापडले आहेत. बाजार समिती बंद असल्याने नेहमी गजबजलेल्या ठिकाणी आता शुकशुकाट पाहायला मिळत आहे.

Onion farmers are facing a major crisis as the Yeola Agricultural Produce Market Committee in Nashik district will remain closed for six consecutive days from today. The auction of onions and other pulses will remain closed due to the end of March and public holidays.
While onions are already not getting the expected market price, now the auction process has come to a standstill, which has further worried farmers. Since the market committee is closed, the usually bustling places are now witnessing drought.
