This video covers a nearly eight hour visit to Philadelphia International Airport, with traffic utilizing the 27s and 26 and 35. Departures from 27L and arrivals to 27R are featured here, with video shot between 6:30 AM and 2:20 PM.

Normally I would not venture out to PHL before sunrise, but New Year's Day 2016 was clearly an exception, as Qatar Airways had previously announced they would fly the Airbus A350-900XWB daily on flight 727/728 beginning on January 1, and this would be the first revenue passenger flight to North America utilizing the A350, which is Airbus' response to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

In addition to the A350, there are two other aircraft that made an appearance at PHL that were quite special - one of which has been to PHL plenty of times in the past, the other not so much, and I'm VERY glad to check that one off the list. I was able to get both aircraft arriving as well as departing, and are featured here.
