Costa Rica is safe! Driving in central Costa Rica ( 4K60 HD )

Is Costa Rica safe? I googled it so many times, called my friend in San José and the answer always was - "sure..... but don't forget you're in Central America!". What does it mean?! Can you walk in the city with a camera? Can you take a road trip and not be paranoid about your stuff in the car? I had to see it to believe it: Costa Rica is a safe, beautiful and welcoming country! Yes, you can walk the city with a camera and no one cares. Taking your belongings with you every time you pop into a roadside grocery for a bottle of water is too much, no need to, no one is going to break in your car. People are cheerful, a lot of English speakers, cars are new and nice, road courtesy is definitely there too.
This video doesn't have beautiful postcard shots, just a few short clips taken from the car while driving in the province of Alajuela in central Costa Rica. I wanted to show the culture of driving in the country, level of respect on the road, roadside views, quality of pavement, surroundings and simple things like this.
Regardless whether you are planning a trip or were there and want to revisit on video -- thanks for watching and enjoy!
