Walking tour of Laureles in Medellin, Colombia

Laureles is one of the most known parts of Medellin. Not as popular as its touristy counterpart Poblado, Lauleres is quite pleasant, not as upscale and expensive but offers not less. Set apart from all the other Medellin's housing districts, the place is where you can find tranquility and ease of life amidst all the busy streets of this big city. In fact, when the columbians travel to Medellin, they sure prefer to stay in Laureles, so the overall feel is less international and more cozy. For those who love urban hiking, Laureles is a place to be – everything is just a few steps away, metro is right nearby and the restaurants are in abundance.

🇪🇸 Laureles es una de las partes más conocidas de Medellín. No tan popular como su contraparte turística Poblado, Lauleres es bastante agradable, no tan lujoso y caro, pero no ofrece menos. Apartado de todos los otros barrios residenciales de Medellín, el lugar es donde puedes encontrar tranquilidad y facilidad de vida en medio de todas las concurridas calles de esta gran ciudad. De hecho, cuando los colombianos viajan a Medellín, prefieren quedarse en Laureles, por lo que la sensación general es menos internacional y más acogedora. Para aquellos que aman el senderismo urbano, Laureles es un lugar para estar – todo está a solo unos pasos, el metro está muy cerca y los restaurantes abundan.
