Maharashtra Enters Guinness World Records For Solar Pump Installation

Under the Magel Tyala Solar Agriculture Pump Scheme, Maharashtra set a Guinness World Record by installing 45,911 solar agricultural pumps in just one month. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis received the Guinness World Records certificate on behalf of the state government. An agreement was signed between Mahavitran and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to provide loan assistance for installing solar pumps under the scheme.
