Steve Kaufmann Disagrees: Why AI Cannot (or Can) Replace Native Tutors

Julesy (@julesytooshoes ) recently posed a critical question to Steve Kaufmann (@Thelinguist )- Can AI substitute native speakers in language learning? While she argued that artificial intelligence can replace human tutors up to a certain threshold, Steve fundamentally disagreed. I have intentionally omitted his reasoning here so you can hear his perspective directly in the video.

Following their debate, I throw my 2 cents worth in ... especially after having spent the past 2 and a half years building out hundreds of AI language agents and language learning harnesses - as well as building my own personal 'OPEN BRAIN' which has been a game changer for me. .
